Hello friends. I'm Brent and you've found my site on the world wide web. I originally created this site to organize and distribute materials such as music, writings, and images. Over the years I've been involved in songwriting, singing, guitar, piano, recording, instrument programming, digital signal processing, studying the nature of sound and music, and writing.

On 01-19-09, I finished my first full length music album. You can find the mp3s at the "music" tab of this site.

On 05-08-09, I finished a first draft of my music journal. In it I attempt to convey the most important things I found during my study of the nature of music. I hope that anyone interested in music, recording, or philosophy will take a look at it.

This is a picture of my music studio. It might not look very expensive, but it isn't the size or cost that matters nowadays. Computers are so fast that they can model racks and racks of expensive outboard hardware. If you turn your attention to the image behind this text you will notice a complex diagram. That is a schematic for an instrument i built that exists entirely inside the computer. Wow, computers are neat.
